Samia Perkins (shown here with her assistant) is a Certified Technical Writer.  She graduated from San Jose State University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Mathematics.  In additional she acquired a Technical Writing and Communications Certificate from San Jose State.
Samia started Samia's Office Services in February, 2006. Samia specializes in website design and maintenance, as well as technical writing services. She designed the Sherburne & Associates site, and also provides writing and transciption services for Sherburne & Associates.

Prior to joining Sherburne & Associates, Samia was employed as a technical writer at Hospira, formerly Abbott Laboratories Hospital Products Division, where she developed and wrote technical service manuals for new products, updated existing technical service manuals for style and content, researched technical information and interviewed subject matter experts to prepare manuals and edited technical service manuals.

Samia also designed and taught a comprehensive junior high science program for a private school covering biology and earth science, as well as designing and teaching a creative writing course at the junior high level.
